Alex Rodriguez is the Senior Program Manager for Aviation Security with Amazon and former member of the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) Aviation Security Advisory Committee. Prior to joining Amazon, he was the Director of Corporate Public Affairs with DHL and he was Director of Air Cargo Operations at MSA Security. Alex directed all operational and regulatory initiatives for an infrastructure of over 200 explosive detection canine teams spanning 6 regional offices, and for over 40 clients worldwide. Prior to joining MSA, he had a successful 12-year career in aviation security regulatory management with FedEx World Headquarters and he continues to maintain an extensive working knowledge of AVSEC regulations including the TSA Certified Cargo Screening Program, accompanied by vast experience with International Civil Aviation Organization standards and International Air Transportation Administration regulatory and compliance affairs.
