Started in Freight Forwarding in 1970 in Birmingham, England. Was transferred to Chicago in 1980 at the age of 25 to open up the North American operation for the largest Freight Forwarder in the UK. Joined Phoenix International in 1985 and was one of the architects of their success. Started their Far East Ocean Inbound services and helped them become one of the top players in the TPEB. Phoenix International was sold to CH Robinson for $875 million.
Started my first Freight Forwarding Recruiting firm - Freight Match Services - in 1994. Sold them in 2012 and went back into Freight Forwarding for 3 years. Started Logitalent in 2015 and Logitalent Brokerage Resources in 2019. Logitalent recruits exclusively in International Freight Forwarding and Logitalent Brokerage Resources recruits exclusively in Domestic Truck Brokerage.
