Brian Whitley is an experienced Transportation and Supply Chain Executive. Driven by Customer Excellence, he takes pride in providing customers with the best overall Experience and Quality in the industry. As the President of Taimen Transport & Trucklines, his goals include providing solutions that differentiate us from other service providers in the same space. In addition to his primary functions, Brian has been recognized by CCJ Magazine in 2019 as “Innovator of the Year” and has done extensive work with Toys for Tots, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Chattanooga Area Food Bank and served on United Way Committee’s for over 5 years.
Brian began his career with Overnite Transportation (now UPS Freight), gaining unparalleled experience in the Supply Chain space over multiple leadership roles, while also establishing himself as a respected Executive Leader. He started his career from the ground floor as a Customer Service associate while moving up fast thru the management ranks in the field to the corporate office. Brian has played key roles on the Corporate Strategy area during several corporate acquisitions at UPS as a visionary to ensure long-term success. In addition to this, Brian has successfully been involved in multiple startup operations that have helped Load One grow to new heights and Taimen is off to have their best year ever already in 2021.
Brian is a 1989 graduate of Anderson University where he met his wife Kelly (also Class of ’89) where he played basketball before moving on to Virginia Commonwealth University to complete his Academic and Athletic career. He currently resides in Chattanooga, TN.
