Brian Yormak is a Managing Partner at Story Ventures, an early-stage venture capital fund working with companies at the intersection of data and machine intelligence. At Story, Yormack invests in founders focused on the integration of hardware and software, as well as new forms of data capture and processing with a specific focus on transportation and logistics. Prior to founding Story, he worked as an investor at Fontinalis Partners, a Detroit-based venture capital fund started by Bill Ford (executive chairman of Ford Motor). At Fontinalis, he specialized in the impact data is having on logistics and transportation businesses. Prior to working at Fontinalis, he worked as an investment banker at Societe Generale. Yormack earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Pennsylvania and is a Venture for America Fellow.
