David Brown hosts the hit podcast 'Business Wars' and is author of "The Art of Business Wars: Battle-Tested Lessons for Leaders and Entrepreneurs from History’s Greatest Rivalries” (HarperCollins, 2021). He is also the former anchor of the Peabody award-winning public radio business program ‘Marketplace'. Brown has been a public radio journalist for more than three decades, winning multiple awards for reporting and commentary on business, politics and international affairs. Brown earned his PhD in Journalism from the University of Texas at Austin and his Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University School of Law. He frequently speaks on issues of business and the media, and has been a contributor to The History Channel, The Discovery Channel, NPR’s All Things Considered, Morning Edition, and CNBC’s Power Lunch among other programs. He lives with his wife and two children in Austin, Texas.
