Dorcas Williams is Principal Marketing Manager for Amazon Freight Partner (AFP)—a global program within Amazon’s middle mile transportation network. She leads brand, acquisition, and content marketing for this innovative transportation program that recruits entrepreneurs who partner with Amazon to start their own trucking companies. A core mission of the AFP program is to deliver new programs and initiatives to improve Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEI&B) within the transportation industry and Dorcas leads this work.
A graduate of Tulane University, she began her career as an engineer and after earning an MBA at New York University, expanded her problem-solving scope to include marketing and business challenges. She has led marketing strategy for tech disruptors, billion-dollar beauty brands, entertainment powerhouses, and many of your favorite guilty pleasures in the food industry. Over the course of her 20+ year career, she is most proud of her ability to coach and inspire others—building teams that perform beyond expectations.
Outside of work, Dorcas loves exploring the dining and music scenes of new cities, including Nashville, Tenn., which she now calls home.
