Ed Niedermeyer started blogging about the auto industry in 2008, and has gone on to have writing featured in the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg Opinion and numerous other outlets. He is the author of Ludicrous: The Unvarnished Story of Tesla Motors, which was published in 2019 by BenBella Books, and is the founder and co-host of The Autonocast, a leading weekly podcast about autonomous vehicles and the future of mobility. Currently the Communications Director for Partners for Automated Vehicle Education, Niedermeyer lives in Portland, OR and spends what little free time he has hiking, camping and skiing.
