Jake Fields is the Co-founder and CTO of Platform Science, Inc. Jake is a serial technology entrepreneur that has founded or launched eight companies spanning the connected vehicle, rideshare, medical device, enterprise event management, industrial IoT remote device management, digital advertising, technical professional services, and executive education services.
He has helped large corporations radically reinvent themselves through his leadership of innovation efforts with partners including public and private sectors leaders in their industry segments including ESPN, Viacom, Loreal, PWC, Schneider National, Eli Lilly, The Carlos Slim institute, FDA and NASA.
Honed through a decade of experience delivering technical advisory services to enterprise customers, Jake’s customer centric product development approach combines with his unique technical and product vision, and has led the company’s product to extraordinary consumer response and industry accolades and awards. Most recently, Jake was named the Top Tech 2020: Cox Business Exemplary award winner highlighting his strong leadership within the San Diego community, Platform Science and the industry as a whole.
A frequently requested industry speaker, Jake represents the Telematics Service Providers industry on Samsung’s Enterprise Advisory Council, and leads the Strategy Working Group for the Blockchain in Trucking (BiTA) sub-committee of the ATA.
He holds a Bachelor or Science from Drexel University and has attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for continuing education in technology management.
