Jamie Dixon is a seasoned logistics professional is Director of Supply Chain at XAct Solutions backed by TM Insight. Jamie has intimate knowledge of the Australian freight and logistics landscape, and has current relationships with many in the service provider community. In recent years Jamie has honed his knowledge and skills more broadly across the Asia Pacific region. Jamie is able to extract maximum benefit for the client by leveraging his knowledge of freight logistics processes, customer service requirements and service provider capability fit to create competitive tension and deliver successful outcomes.
Prior to joining the business, Jamie had more than 20 years’ experience across publishing, manufacturing, sourcing, procurement and supply chain. Jamie previously worked in senior strategic and operational roles with Sensis (a Division of Telstra) , and with Linfox managing various contracts across several industries, interstate linehaul and project managing the freight transport strategy and solution for SOCOG for the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
Jamie has led projects within many industries and countries across freight and logistics strategies, procurement, systems and implementations. He has also pioneered new solutions including supply chain sustainability, last mile strategies, route optimisation, control towers and third party logistics managed services.
