John is seven years new to the Transportation & Logistics industry. After receiving his undergraduate degree from the Wharton School he sharpened his problem-solving skills at JPMorgan in Investment Banking and then worked at Phoenix’s largest private equity firm until he joined Knight Transportation. At KNX, he wore multiple hats, including leading the Company’s M&A effort - closing 10 deals in 6 years, including the largest truckload merger in US history. He spent the majority of his time at KNX architecting a universal pricing approach and leading the Network Strategy and Pricing team that was top in the market in 2017/2018 for rate increases. This was achieved through bid events and much more tactically on a corporate-wide basis through systems, processes, and training throughout the organization. John enjoys solving complex problems, has been bitten with the T&L bug and loves turning the tables in favor of our shipper-partners. He enjoys any outdoor activity with his wife, Katie, and their three children. He chases down ultimate frisbees (while trying to keep hamstrings in tact), hikes, camps, and is always up for a new physical pursuit.
