As a Regional Vice President of Sales And Operations, Korby develops strategic business plans pertaining to the utility market trends. He successfully achieves sales objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews, preparing and completing action plans, implementing new programs, ensuring quality and customer-service standards, identifying trends, determining account manager and sales management improvements, developing, implementing and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
Korby is accomplished in sales, project management, and contract administration with a 20+ year record of achievement and demonstrated success in the development and implementation of strategic alliances in support of the Distribution and Transmission Utility market. He is competent in establishing strong external relationships with key leaders, executive management, and business partners crucial to sustaining vital business objectives. He personally manages key strategic alliances and lead key strategic projects.
Prior to his current role, Korby was a national sales manager of project services with Irby. In this capacity, he lead the single largest sales event in company history (210 miles of 345kv double-circuit transmission line), managing major supplier partnerships and alliances including selection, pricing, negotiation, transportation, and performance measurement.
Additionally, he created and implemented two sales support organizations in Denver, CO and Fort Worth, TX to assist in the formulation of a service focused, quality substation and transmission project bids for all customer types across the Irby footprint.
