Larry Burns, author and veteran General Motors executive, advises organizations on the future of mobility, logistics, manufacturing, energy and innovation.  AT GM, Burns was corporate vice president of Research and Development and Planning from 1998-2009. He was a consultant at Waymo on the Google Self-Driving Car project from 2010 to 2021. He also was  a professor of engineering practice at the University of Michigan; director of the Program for Sustainable Mobility at Columbia University, and an advisor to several major companies.
