Mark Molloy co-founded Partners in Aviation (PIA) in 2016 after spending 34 years successfully representing new Beechcraft products for the OEM in the Chicago area. Three-plus decades of selling business aircraft to companies and individuals, many of whom were dealing with cost-justification issues based on low utilization, was the genesis of the company
PIA, with the support of its best-in-industry strategic partners and advisors, has systematically addressed the pitfalls typical to DIY partnerships. The result is PIA Co-Ownership - a structured and comprehensive solution for operators flying between 50 and 150 hrs per year - that effectively cuts the net cost of ownership in half while providing aircraft access rivaling sole ownership.
Mark has positioned PIA to work in partnership with our industry’s OEMs, sales organizations, management companies and professional services firms, enabling clients to step up to their ideal turbine aircraft. PIA’s core service is matchmaking — locating, vetting and matching compatible in-region co-owners – and providing the legal structure that allows co-ownership to be successful. The company now has PIA Co-Ownership matches flying from coast-to-coast in all categories from turbo-props through super-midsize jets.
Mark is an ATP and type-rated pilot with over 4.000 hours of flight time. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business/finance from the University of Illinois.
