Matt Carroll is a Product Manager for Waymo Via Trucking at Waymo, an autonomous driving technology company with a mission to make it safe and easy for people and things to get where they're going.
In his role, Matt is responsible for product scalability — how to launch and operationalize fully-autonomous trucks — and on-road construction for Waymo Via (which is Waymo’s business line focused on commercial goods delivery, including both trucking and local delivery).
Prior to Waymo, Matt worked at Peloton Technology, a truck-automation startup, where he was the first product manager in the organization and worked on wirelessly-connecting truck convoys. Matt was also previously an engineering team lead for a defense contractor that designed vehicle enhancements, such as IED and mine protection.
He holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Western Ontario and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
