Steve Blough is a Co-founder of MercuryGate International and is currently the Chief Innovation Officer. Steve is responsible for all product innovation, conception and development, training, and product management. He is the chief architect of the MercuryGate Smart Transportation Platform.
Before founding MercuryGate, Steve was a Custom Application Development Competency Leader for IBM Global Services (1985 – 2000). Steven led domestic and international client consulting engagements with supply chain management initiatives. Combining industry knowledge with his technology background, Steve re-engineers’ logistics business processes and transforms complex business requirements into innovative designs for information systems.
Steve has over 40 years of experience in designing, developing, and integrating supply chain information systems, resulting in dramatically lower logistics costs for customers, enabling customers of all sizes to save money and improve margins.
Steve is focused on Artificial Intelligence's role inside MercuryGate’s end-to-end shipment lifecycle, ensuring actionable execution layers to speed and automate reaction to exceptions, measure and reduce CO2 emissions to attain sustainability goals, build true logistics intelligence, and enable our customers to adapt and grow.
