Zeina El-Azzi is a sustainability and renewable energy innovator and leader who has built a career deploying capital in infrastructure projects for technologies that are at the precipice of commercialization at scale. She focuses on the strategy and execution of environmental, government, and social initiatives.
As the CEO of Gage Zero, she establishes a clear and compelling vision to drive the strategic and financial direction for the company’s mission to rapidly deploy reliable infrastructure and cost-effective solutions that accelerate zero emission fleets and benefit communities.
Before founding Gage Zero, Zeina was a co-founder of Brightmark and led the expansion of the company from start-up to established leader in the renewable natural gas (RNG) industry with nearly $750MM in raised equity investments. She successfully built 30 RNG projects located across 40 farms in 10 different states under a joint venture with Chevron. All together, these projects have reduced 600 thousand tons of CO 2 and counting!
Zeina has also led numerous successful initiatives and teams across the wind, solar, and battery storage sectors.
She loves being outside in nature, the opera and is a huge supporter of live performance art.
