Robert has been involved in the trucking business since 2005. His father owned one of New York’s oldest trucking company, James J Haley Trucking, that started with horse trucks servicing the printing industry in downtown Manhattan. Robert began his career with Haley Trucking as a helper on a truck and worked his way up to Vice President. After his father’s business sold in 2015, Robert then went on to work at Wadham’s Enterprises in their operations department helping to manage a fleet of a little over 500 trucks. With Roberts experience in the trucking business he is able to come up with unique out of the box solutions that maximize coverage while protecting his clients bottom line. In his current role with USI Insurance Services Robert and his team work with all major segments of the transportation industry using proprietary analytics with a network of Local & National resources to create solutions around clients core business issues. Roberts team is focused on giving company owners sound advice with financial impact to give their clients a strategic advantage over their competition. Roberts core team consists of analytics, Loss control, Claims analyst, and highly skilled industry experts. The result is an agile, experienced and respected team focused around your business and its success. Robert earned his B.S in Marine Transportation from NY Maritime College where he was a regimental cadet and earned several industry designations. He then went on to receiving his insurance broker license from Poes Insurance Institute. Robert was born and raised on Long Island where he currently resides.
