Rob Walpole is Vice President of Delta Cargo and leads a team of 1,500 employees across the globe. He is responsible for driving the division’s continuous improvement to ensure superior commercial, financial and operational performance – taking Delta Cargo’s industry-leading position to new heights.

Rob joined Delta Air Lines in 2019 as Vice President of Cargo Operations and Logistics. During this time, he delivered world-class operations capability and service levels for our customers. He also implemented innovative programs focused on new products and services to support supply chain demands of the future and led the team charged with optimizing internal logistics capabilities across Delta.

Prior to joining Delta, Rob served as Chief Operating Officer – Global Logistics and Supply Chain at DP World, a Dubai-based global port operator. He also spent 11 years with the global logistics company, DB Schenker, most recently as CEO of their USA business. Rob has spent time in Singapore in various leadership roles and began his career in Australia in the energy sector in a variety of manufacturing and supply chain positions at Exxon-Mobil.

Rob holds an Honors Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Queensland and an MBA in International Business from Monash University, Australia.
