Garrett Allen is the founder and CEO of SearchCarriers.com, a carrier intelligence platform built to help the freight industry identify bad actors, vet partners with confidence, and put actionable safety and compliance insights into the hands of brokers, shippers, fleets, and underwriters.
Garrett has spent more than a decade building technology for the freight industry. At Integrity Express Logistics, he led the development of a proprietary Transportation Management System from the ground up, helping scale the company into a top-25 freight brokerage. At Transfix, he led software engineering teams covering EDI, payments, and shipper-facing operations. He went on to build the first open-source TMS platform designed specifically for freight brokers.
That experience gave him a front-row seat to a persistent industry problem: the tools meant to protect people in the supply chain weren't built by anyone who understood their actual day-to-day. SearchCarriers was born from that gap. Garrett builds in public, ships fast, and has become a recognized voice in the freight tech community for his direct takes on where legacy platforms fall short and what it actually takes to build something better.
