Mike covered transportation and equipment for 13 years in sell-side equity research at Stifel before joining FreightWaves. At Stifel, he had primary coverage responsibilities for the railroad, rail equipment and truck equipment stocks. His transportation experience has also touched the truckload, domestic barge and logistics industries. After first serving as a research associate covering truckload, logistics, rail and barge carriers, Mike expanded the transportation research practice at Stifel as a senior publishing analyst to include coverage of companies that manufacture, lease and sell equipment to the rail and truck industries. He is a CFA Charterholder.
