Bowers was one of the original principals at the Hub Group, spent 10 years with Schneider National, Inc., where he wrote and implemented the strategic plan for Schneider Intermodal, and led the creation of cross-border intermodal and automotive networks to Mexico at Kansas City Southern Railway. He also held leadership positions with North American Van Lines and Roadway Express.
