Mr. Bryn Heimbeck has been at the helm at Trade Tech as Co-Founder and President since its establishment in 1997. Through his visionary stewardship, Trade Tech has earned a leadership position in cloud-based integrated logistics computing technology. As a result, the company has steadily grown and now has 11 offices in 7 countries that serves over 400 customers worldwide – offering innovative and intuitive logistics software solutions.
Throughout his career, Heimbeck has stood on the nexus between technology and logistics. Prior to Trade Tech, he began his career in 1985, as a Sales Representative for Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL) based in Chicago before taking on various leadership roles as a Line Manager and Assistant General Manager for OOCL in Hong Kong. Moving back to Seattle in 1995, he then joined Fritz Companies Inc as Director, Transpacific Inbound NVOCC Development, where his focus on the logistics side of the business took shape, eventually leading to the formation of Trade Tech two years later.
As a seasoned and savvy business professional with a strong operations background, Heimbeck is widely regarded as a thought leader in transformative technology with direct impact to the supply chain industry. His credo is that logistics processes can continually be improved upon and drive competitive advantage through software and automation.
Heimbeck received his Bachelor’s degree in International Studies / Economic Development from the University of Washington in 1984. Currently residing in the Seattle area, Heimbeck is an avid sailor, skier, and outdoor sports enthusiast and the father of three sons.
