Danny Gomez is the Managing Director of Financial & Emerging Markets for FreightWaves where he focuses on introducing rich data analytics and tools to the transportation industry to measure and reduce carbon emissions. He joined FreightWaves from Nodal Exchange where he was the Managing Director of Energy Markets and part of the executive team that launched the exchange in 2009 and grew it to the largest power futures exchange in North America. Prior to Nodal Exchange, he worked for 4 years at Expro Group as their Global Market Analyst. Mr. Gomez holds a B.A. in Economics from Texas A&M University.
