Deborah (Debbie) Sackman is the Senior Product Manager for the Fleets division of SkyBitz, a Telular Ametek brand, where she is responsible for driving strategic direction, product solution planning, program development, and sales and support enablement for SkyBitz software, services, and hardware solutions. Prior to SkyBitz, Ms. Sackman had comparable product management responsibilities for Savi Technology, a Lockheed Martin company, the leading provider of active RFID, enterprise-class tracking and monitoring solutions, and services for high-value assets for public and private sector supply chains. Prior to Savi, Ms. Sackman was a Technical Director at the Air Force Office of Warfighting Integration and Chief Information Officer, where she developed strategies, policies, and processes to ensure the AF IT infrastructure was cost-effectively managed as an enterprise capability to optimally support the warfighter and served as a leader for comparable DoD enterprise efforts.
Ms. Sackman’s experience ranges from full lifecycle application development on small to large enterprise projects, to establishing and managing helpdesk operations, to technology assessment and insertion, to IT/business strategic planning and execution, to product line management and sales support. She has owned & operated three small businesses, worked for multiple commercial software and hardware vendors and worked for multiple consulting firms supporting DoD organizations. Ms. Sackman holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Business from the University of Maryland.
