A native of Boone, NC, Ingrid Brown has built a 46-year career in trucking grounded in hard work and determination. Starting as an independent owner-operator of Rollin’ B LLC, she currently serves as Operations Manager of a small refrigerated fleet and company Driver at Blackjack Express LLC in West Memphis/Proctor, AR, specializing in heavy haul, oversize and refrigerated freight commodities.Ingrid was honored in December 2025 by meeting the Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy and FMCSA ADMINISTRATOR Derek Barrs as they requested Ingrid too locate and transport the Inaugural USDOT Christmas tree to US Department of Transportation and FMCSA in Washington, DC.In September 2025 Ingrid was invited to be the keynote speaker at the Peterbilt Women's Initiative 10th Anniversary Leadership Summit for PACCAR and Peterbilt in Denton, TX.Safety drives her work. As the FMCSA Voice of Safety for the Our Roads, Our Safety campaign, Ingrid appears on national PSAs, billboards, SiriusXM, and social media. She has spoken at the FMCSA Trucking Safety Summit and earned honors including the 2015 NASTC America’s Road Team Member and Woman Driver of the Year, as well as the 2018 TA/Petro Citizen Driver award—the Oklahoma City Petro was renamed in her honor. And the 2025 NASTC Ambassador of the Year award.A charter member of the Women in Trucking Association since 2007, Ingrid currently sits on the Board of Directors and the Women in Trucking Foundation Board. Since 2015, she has been proud to represent the industry as a WIT Legendary Inaugural Image Team member.A melanoma cancer fighter and survivor, Ingrid remains actively involved in melanoma advocacy, using her platform to raise awareness and promote early detection within the trucking community and her communities.An advocate for safe parking and industry improvement, she has spoken at DOT and FMCSA meetings, served on numerous FMCSA committees and industry events. Ingrid has also served on the CARB truck parking board from 2018-2023 and been invited to work with the Texas Governor Freight Committee on numerous projects.Today, still as a professional driver, advocate and operations manager, Ingrid travels the country as a keynote speaker and podcast guest, mentoring and inspiring the next generation of drivers and industry professionals.With a true belief AMERICA Moves by the Grace of God and Trucks!
