In his role as Senior Director, Operations Hub-IT, Joshua Newton is responsible for developing an operations-focused IT strategy and vision, leading delivery and innovation for the IT Operation Hub. Joshua collaborates closely with the company’s key business departments to ensure shipping at Estes is as frictionless as possible.
As a results-driven leader, he enjoys sharing industry challenges that Estes can solve, along with the innovative technologies used in the process. Focused on team development and fostering a cohesive culture, Joshua looks forward to continuing his work with Estes’ Fleet and Operations group, aiming to grow both people and practices in a highly competitive and ever-evolving industry.
He joined Estes with the Help Desk in 2004 and later transitioned into Systems Administration and Business Analytics. He was promoted to Director of Application Services in 2019, and in early 2022, to Director, Operations Hub-IT. He has been in his current role, Senior Director, Operations Hub-IT since late 2022. Josh holds two degrees from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU).
