Kyle Mitchin serves as Chief People Officer for Forward Air, a position he has held since 2019. In this role, Mitchin is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Company’s Human Resource function as well as the capacity growth and retention initiatives for Forward Air’s fleet of Independent Contractors.
Mitchin joined Forward Air in 2014 as Vice President of Recruiting and Retention. He was promoted to Senior Vice President of Human Resources in 2017.
Prior to joining Forward Air, Mitchin was Director of Recruiting for Panther Premium Logistics.
Mitchin earned his bachelor’s degree in business management and his MBA from Walsh University.
