Ms. Street, Director of Global Carbon Pricing at OPIS by IHS Markit, is an expert in developing pricing solutions for compliance and voluntary carbon markets as well as refined products spot markets. Her current work focuses on bringing transparency to the voluntary carbon market through the development of benchmark indices. In 2020, her carbon team launched the world’s first daily pricing suite for voluntary carbon credits in the OPIS Global Carbon Offset Report, which includes benchmarks for carbon credits generated by nature-based projects Reducing Emissions from Deforestation and Forest Degradation (REDD+) as well as carbon credits eligible for the CORSIA program. In 2014, Ms. Street created OPIS benchmark pricing for North America compliance markets and leads an editorial team that brings daily transparency to the California Carbon Allowances (CCA) market as well as the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative Allowances (RGGI) and California Carbon Offsets (CCO) markets. She separately leads the OPIS Mexico fuels pricing team and the OPIS West Coast refined products pricing team. Ms. Street has 14 years’ experience with Price Reporting Agencies. She holds a BS from the University of Houston.
