Mazen Danaf is the Principal Economist and Senior Data Science Manager at Uber Freight, where he leads the development of pricing algorithms, conducts macroeconomic analysis, and generates freight market forecasts. He serves as Uber Freight's voice at industry conferences and in media, and collaborates with autonomous and electric truck partners on go-to-market strategy. Before Uber Freight he worked at Aurora on autonomous truck route expansion and holds deep research ties to MIT where he has taught, published over 25 papers, and remains a Research Affiliate. He holds advanced degrees and brings a rare combination of economics, data science, and transportation systems expertise to everything he does.
