With an educational and professional background in Finance, Shannon joined the logistics industry in 2012 with Knight Transportation out of Phoenix, Arizona and in 2015 garnered responsibility over the Logistics segment of their business. In 2017, at the time of the merger with Swift Transportation, he led the synergy team focused on combined non-asset success, and soon after gained responsibility of both the Logistics and Intermodal operations for the entire enterprise. In the combined roles he was responsible for two of the three KNX’s publicly reportable segments, with gross transportation revenues north of $700 million and a driving and non-driving workforce of over 1000 professionals. Personally, Shannon is an avid golfer, coach, competitor, and happily married father of five.
