Tom Hurwitch is the founder of baysys. Prior to baysys Tom helped grow a trucking business from three trucks to 20 before Tom left to focus his energy full-time on baysys - which he developed while doing battle with the many inefficiencies he identified while running intermodal freight.
Prior to being involved in software and trucking Tom spent more than two decades in management consulting roles focused on operations. He spent most of his time in the oil & gas industry and manufacturing - utilizing learnings from each to improve the other. Tom has worked with many Fortune 500 companies including Shell, Chevron, BP, Husqvarna, John Deere, Boeing and Revlon and has spent time in the oil sands of Canada, unconventional natural gas (fracking) operations in western Pennsylvania and deepwater exploration 200 miles from the coast of Louisiana - to name a few.
