Tyler Johnston currently works as General Manager of Operations for Mercer Transportation, headquartered in Louisville KY. With over 45 years in business and home to over 1,600 Independent Contractors, Mercer Transportation has established itself in the trucking industry as one of the largest truckload carriers in the nation and is proudly referred to as THE Owner Operator Company. Tyler has held numerous management and directorial positions within the Mercer’s organization, including Director of Brokerage, Freight Operations, and Truck Operations. Prior to Mercer, Tyler worked with a high-profile full truckload brokerage, as well as holding a position as operations manager with a small trucking company where he was introduced to the industry. Tyler is also a proud alumnus of the University of Louisville where he studied business administration.
