Vipul Gupta is the Vice President and General Manager of Honeywell Aerospace Avionics business enterprise. He is responsible for leading our $2 billion Avionics Gold Business Enterprise, which includes Integrated Avionics Systems, Military Avionics, Displays, Flight Management Systems, Flight Controls, Surveillance, Weather Radar, Navigation Radios, Communication Radios, Datalink, and BendixKing product lines.
Prior to the current role, Vipul led development of next generation avionics program with transformational change to drive 50% reduction in development cost & cycle time. Earlier he was the interim leader for Safety Systems Gold Business Enterprise where he led Radios, Datalink, Weather Radar, Surveillance, Interior & Exterior Lighting portfolio. He has managed P&L for weather, traffic & surveillance offerings across all verticals and led the development and certification of newest weather radar RDR7000. Vipul has also worked as Offering Management Leader for Electronic Solutions SBU with responsibility to drive organic growth engine across the business unit, focused on decoupled new product pipeline. In addition, his experience includes RMU (Retrofit, Modification, & Upgrade) Strategy Director, for all Aerospace products and Platform Director in Dassault CBT, with P&L responsibility for Honeywell Equipment (Avionics and Mechanical) on F900, F2000, F7X/F8X (Mechanical) platforms.
Vipul joined Honeywell in 2001 and his education background includes a Master’s of Science in Aerospace Engineering from University of Cincinnati and a MBA from Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. He also holds the Private Pilot license with Instrument rating. Vipul is married with two children and lives in Chandler, AZ. He enjoys skiing, hiking and spending time with family.
